HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT IN BUILDING ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

Human Resource Management is an effort to establish organizations whose existence is needed by society through planning and implementing public services as well as development programs aimed at improving community welfare. This process focuses on the continuous enhancement of work capabilities based on ethics and high social responsibility in the workplace. The findings of this study indicate that: (1) Human Resource Management planning in building organizational commitment includes several activities, namely the development of vision, mission, and goals; identification of internal and external factors through SWOT analysis techniques; short-, medium-, and long-term planning; and the implementation of Human Resource Management collectively by all madrasah stakeholders, including the madrasah principal, vice principal for public relations, vice principal for curriculum, vice principal for student affairs, teachers, and the madrasah committee. (2) The implementation of Human Resource Management by the principal at MAN 1 Situbondo has been carried out effectively, particularly in terms of human resource placement, training and development, performance evaluation, and compensation or incentive honorariums based on duties, workload, and teachers’ activities.
