ISLAMIC EDUCATION MANAGEMENT IN MADRASAH DEVELOPMENT

The emergence of leading Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia is the result of Islamic modernization that combines meritocratic principles with traditional educational values. This study aims to analyze the process of school or madrasah development in improving the quality of education and management through strategic steps such as needs analysis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The method used in this study is a literature review to evaluate knowledge and findings from various sources. The results indicate that school or madrasah development includes improvements in curriculum, facilities, teacher welfare, management, and community participation. This process is also relevant in addressing the challenges of globalization, technological advancement, and the demands of 21st-century skills. The implication is that continuous and adaptive development is necessary to create an effective learning environment and ensure that educational institutions are prepared to face a competitive future.
