The development of modern education demands learning strategies that are capable of encouraging creativity, innovation, and students’ practical skills. However, in Frontier, Outermost, and Disadvantaged (3T) regions such as Sorong Regency, limitations in educational infrastructure, access to technology, and the availability of teaching personnel remain challenges to improving the quality of learning. This study aims to analyze the role of project-based training in encouraging creativity and educational innovation in 3T regions. The research employed a literature review approach using descriptive qualitative analysis techniques through the examination of various scientific literatures relevant to project-based learning. The results of the study indicate that project-based training can improve critical thinking skills, creativity, and students’ collaboration abilities through contextual learning activities and real problem-solving approaches. This approach also has the potential to support the development of practical skills relevant to local community needs and contribute to improving the quality of regional human resources.
